How to get here

By Car:

From Dublin:

Ballina and Killaloe are situated at Junction 27 on the M7 (Limerick) Motorway (signposted for Birdhill, Killaloe, Ballina) Take the second exits off the two roundabouts onto the R494 (signposted for Ballina and Killaloe). Travel for approximately 2km and you will enter the village.

There is a car park situated on the right hand side immediately after you cross a small bridge. From here you can walk into the village to enjoy the festivities.

From Cork:

Use the N20 Limerick Road. After leaving Charleville continue onto the M20 Motorway, signposted for Limerick. At Junction 1 (Rossbrien Interchange) join the M7 motorway signposted for Dublin. From the M7 take exit 27 (signposted for Birdhill, Killaloe, Ballina) Take the second exits off the two roundabouts onto the R494 (signposted for Ballina and Killaloe). Travel for approximately 2km and you will enter the village.

From Shannon Airport (using the Toll – cost 1.80 for cars)

Take the N18 Limerick Road. At Junction 4 continue on to the N18 (signposted Limerick East Toll) Go through the toll Plaza and the tunnel. From the M7 take exit 27 (signposted for Birdhill, Killaloe, Ballina) Take the second exits off the two roundabouts onto the R494 (signposted for Ballina and Killaloe). From Galway (using the Toll – cost 1.80 for cars)

Traveling from further afield

Access by Air:

Ballina and Killaloe are within 2 hrs drive of the international airports of Dublin and Cork.
The closest airport to us is Shannon which is approximately 45 minutes drive.

Access by Sea:

Ferries operate all year round to the island of Ireland from the UK and France.
Ferries travel to Cork, Rosslare, Dun Laoghaire and Dublin Ferry Ports.

Rail:

You can travel to the Limerick City Colbert Station which has frequent daily services to all destinations throughout Ireland. The rail journey from Dublin is approximately 2 hrs. To plan your journey we recommend you use the Iarnrod Eireann web site (www.irishrail.ie)
