Our annual St. Patrick’s Day parade will take place on Monday 17th March at 2:30pm. The parade will start from Ballina GAA pitch, travel through Ballina, crossing the Bridge and travelling up the Main Street finishing in the Green. Some floats will continue to Lakes Nursing Home. The Vikings are coming!
From 5th – 7th July, over 60 Vikings are going to descend on the twin-towns of Killaloe & Ballina, the birthplace of Ireland’s Greatest High King, Brian Ború. We are delighted to welcome Lakes Viking to Killaloe-Ballina, and we hope you will come along to their village in Cathedral Quay on Saturday 6th & Sunday

Ballina/Killaloe St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2020
On the recommendation of the National Public Health Emergency Team, we have decided to postpone the 2020 St. Patrick’s Day parade – we hope to run this at a later date and will keep you posted! We did not make this decision lightly. Sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Feile Brian Boru Children’s Art

2012 Féile Brian Ború Brings Colour and Sunshine to Killaloe and Ballina.
Highlight of the first weekend in an action packed 10 day schedule was Sunday’s children’s parade. Hundreds of children from primary schools on both sides of the river came together during the week to craft costumes, and on Sunday, a river of colour and sound poured across the bridge.
